Well, WordPress emailed me to say I have to update my site. I logged in to find that the automatic update had failed, so I tried again from the Dashboard and it didn’t work, neither would the plugins update…

I left it for a while (for “while” read “months!”), as I couldn’t be bothered to attempt a manual update as it seemed like a lot of work, and then i kept getting multiple emails a day asking me to update.

I thought i’d ignore those for a bit (months!) too, but now…finally… I went through the instructions and managed to manually update WordPress via my ftp access to my site! Yay!

I don’t notice anything different, but I feel better for it! 🙂

Well that’s the boring update out of the way. I’ll try to make the next update a little more interesting!
